Drink plenty of water, so that your lips don’t dehydrate.
Try to avoid sharing lip-gloss with friends as this is a guaranteed way to spread the cold
sore infection.
Try to avoid touching the cold sore as this can spread the virus to other parts of the body.
Wash your hands after touching the cold sore.
Avoid sharing cups, towels or other objects with anyone - and don’t kiss anyone!
