In the past few years, we at McCabes Pharmacy have really noticed the increasing levels of isolation that are happening in our communities. We notice how important our role is at the pharmacy counter or at the end of the telephone, in being a friendly chatty voice to those that are marginalised or isolated in our areas. To that end, we are proud to partner with ALONE.

This incredible organisation offers much needed support to all older people around the country. ALONE Strives to help those who are lonely, isolated, frail, ill or living with any other difficulties to age at home safely and securely for as long as they wish.

Housing, medical assistance and mental wellbeing are just some of the practical supports they offer to vulnerable older people in our communities. We continue to work in partnership with ALONE to raise awareness of the challenges elderly people are facing in our society and to raise much needed funds to help them continue their support services.

McCabes Pharmacy are proud to lend their support to three other charities; Encephalitis International, My Canine Companion Autism & Therapy Services and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
